adult education was provided to parents in schools during the day after dropping children off? This sort of community learning facility would be great in areas where its hard to get parents involved, offering activities on site during school hours could increase take up in basic skills and informal subjects like learning new languages, healthy eating etc.? perhaps there could be some way of providing some cash to schools for this?
